The relationship of your BMP or PICT size to what it ends up after importing into PC Designer depends on the amount of white area or space around the line drawing. While you are in your drawing program crop the art work so that the border is snug up to the art work, then when you import the BMP or PICT into PCD the art work will almost fill up the frame Leave more white space around your art work, then you will see relatively the same white space upon importing into PCD. The art work itself will have been reduced to a smaller size in PCD. ThereÕs not a formula, just kind of eyeball it. Remember, for PCD to use your BMP you need to save it as 1 bit (b/w) BMP file
